This is a courtsey listing for Gulf Coast Doberman Rescue (http://www.gulfcoastdobermanrescue.org/doberfriends.html) Please contact GCDR if you are interested in one of these puppies. We are half dobies, born last April to Mia - a full doberman mom. We are, Harry Remus, Luna & Fleur, and we didn't find a perfect home while we were still babies. But we are still puppies and wonderful ALL! Want you give us a chance? You know having a doberman in a body that isn't easily identified as a doberman isn't a bad thing. We can get past a lot of those nasty breed bans. We are crate trained, spayed and neutered, up-to-date on shots and heart worm negative. In fact, since we were born in rescue, we never even had heart worms. A couple of us are cat safe and we are all good with small children. We were named after Harry Potter characters and need a little Potter magic to find us a home of our own. Please let your friends know that we are here. Remus - Remus is the smallest boy with the biggest personality! He is spunky and fearless, and loves causing trouble with his sisters. He is outgoing and curious and will likely blossom into a fun little boy. Update: Remus is one of 4 pups left from Mia's litter of 12! An adoptive family of one of the puppies did have DNA testing done on her pup to see what the "mix" is. Shockingly, the DNA test revealed they are Doberman (hey we knew that already- Mom Mia a was a doberman) and drrrruuuummmmm rrrrooooolllll - Borsoi! www.akc.org/breeds/borzoi/ That's right Borsoi! Now admittedly, we don't really see it but the blood tests say its so. The generous family shared the results with us and if you adopt one of the four remaining pups, we'll give you a copy. Remus is one of the more timid boys in the group. He is great with small dogs and with the big dogs here in his foster home. But he may be a little shy for the first day or so until he gets to know his new pack. He is neutered, up-to-date on shots, heart worm negative, micro-chiped & crate trained.
